Honda Ridgeline was the 2006 motor trend truck of the year due to its unconventional approach, the man who thinks of the compact truck market. Honda Insight is Honda's only focus, dedicated hybrid sedan - and the cheapest hybrid available in America at the time. A similar profile of the Toyota Prius, Insight, is actually classified as a compact car (the Prius mid-size), but continues to suffer much in comparison. It would be easy to think of the Honda Element as merely another box car clone, except that it came out in the U.S. before anything from Scion, Nissan, or Kia. Element is also very different from those boxes, in that it is larger, is available in front- and all-wheel drive, and only comes with one engine and transmission combination.

Other key differences are its relatively large displacement (for the segment) 2.4-liter I-4, clamshell cargo doors, and flexibly designed interior. The Element is not designed as an urban runabout, but more of an SUV alternative, capable of taking active people and their gear into the woods if necessary. To wit: folding seats and waterproof and stain resistant fabrics and carpets are standard, while multiple storage options (including coolers) are available.

Honda CR-Z sports coupe is all new hybrid that draws on the original of the name "hot hatch" first CRX and Insight hybrid.

The sporty front-wheel drive CR-Z two-seater is powered by the latest generation of Honda's integrated motor assist (IMA) that pairs of 1.5-liter 4-cylinder with 14 horsepower electric with a total capacity of 122 horses. Fuel economy is a hybrid rather pedestrian, but some real return on hybrid CR-Z sports. It takes a little and not very fast from anywhere, but the grip and steering feel is excellent.
