The 2011 SL-Class is a two door, two luxury touring convertible, or convertible sports car, available in three versions about the SL65 AMG Roadster SL550 roadster.

After the introduction, SL550 Roadster is equipped with a standard 5.5-liter, V8, 382 horsepower engine that achieves 14-mpg in the city and 22 mpg highway. 7-gear automatic transmission with overdrive is standard. SL65 AMG Roadster is equipped with a standard 6.0-liter, V12 engine, 604 horsepower, turbo engine that achieves 12 mpg in the city and 18 mpg highway. 5-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard.
