In 2012, the SLK-Class is a 2 door, 2-passenger convertible sports car, available in two versions, the SLK250 and SLK350.After the introduction SLK250 is equipped with a standard 1.8-liter, I4, 201-horsepower, turbo engine that achieves 23 mpg city and 31 mpg on the highway. A 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard, and an automatic transmission with overdrive 7-speed is optional. The SLK350 is equipped with a standard 3.5-liter V6, 302 horsepower engine that achieves 20 mpg city and 29 mpg on the highway. Transmission 7-speed automatic with overdrive is standard.
In 2012 SLK-Class is redesigned for 2012.
