The 2011 Outlander Sport is a four-door five-passenger SUV, available in three versions, ranging from IS at the AWC 2WD SE.

Upon introduction, the 2WD is equipped with a standard 2.0-liter, I4, 148 horsepower engine that achieves 24 mpg city and 31 mpg on the highway. A 5-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard, and a variable speed transmission with overdrive automatic is optional. AWC SE is equipped with a standard 2.0-liter, I4, 148 horsepower engine that achieves 24 mpg city and 29 mpg on the highway. A variable speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard.
